We would like to invite you to get involved& participate in the free ‘Living in Balbriggan Access Fair.’ It is going to take place on Saturday, the 15th of October, 2011 from 12 pm to 4pm at Cairde’s premises on Hampton Street in Balbriggan.
The aim of the fair is to tackle integration needs in the town of Balbriggan by addressing barriers to access local services and participate in activities. It will also create a space for interaction amongst the participants.
You can get involved by:
· simply having an information stand displaying information about what you do
·showing what you do – sing, play, dance, teach others – we can provide you with a performance space
We believe that the Fair will provide an outreach opportunity:
·for local groups, clubs, societies, service providers and agencies.
· for residents to engage with local groups, service providers, societies and clubsin a friendly environment
· for community leaders to engage with their communities and link with the localagencies
· for groups and clubs to showcase their work, perform on the days and invite newmembers
The Fair will include:
· stallsfor local groups, service providers and agencies
· food
· activities- music, sports, entertainment
· children’s entertainment
Space arrangements and location
· theFair will take place at Cairde Balbriggan grounds (seemap)
· therewill be space allocated for information stands
· indoor and outdoor space (marquees) for food, children activities, sports,entertainment and other activities
